Studio Manager

106 Live Radio seeks a public relations manager to develop and execute effective PR initiatives in line with the radio’s objective.

  • Excellent background in Public Relations (minimum 3 years professional experience)
  • Must be proactive, responsive, reliable and dependable
  • Able to identify business needs and proactively develop customized advertising solutions to meet client objectives
  • Excel in identifying prospects and aggressively seek new clientele by networking, calling, canvassing, referrals or other means
  • Have strong listening and presentation skills and the ability to quickly build productive client relationships
  • Possess exceptional organization, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess excellent communication/ people skills with acute attention to details
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Flash, HTML, JavaScript is a plus
  • Must be reliable, dependable and have a driver’s license
  • Must have own computer/laptop
  • Able to take direction and work efficiently with 106 Live Radio team members
  • Must have a driver’s license and own computer/laptop





Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Identify, recruit and develop a high-performance marketing and sales team who can ensure successful growth
  • Train and supervise team members, volunteers and interns
  • Coordinate tasks accordingly to the team
  • Create and maintain (financial and business) goals and radio policies
  • Assist with sales and marketing development
  • Maintains studio, studio equipment and its operations ( drops, commercials, website, etc)
  • Ensure all radio personnel, team members or volunteers complete their respective assignments and follow the radio’s policy at all times.
  • Schedule meetings to discuss targeted goals, objectives and solve problems
  • Researched and analyze market trends to identify target audience and how best to reach them
  • Stay up-to-date with studio equipment, tools, supplies, etc
  • Assist in creating marketing strategies and planning campaigns; and its effectiveness
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and meetings
  • Assist to develop and or create promotional proposals and concepts for sponsors, advertisers and non-profits organizations
  • Keep sales info and media kit up-to-date
  • Maintain all accounts, contact database
  • Analyze and maintain radio data
  • Organize and file prize winner information
  • Additional duties as designated by the CEO or his/her assistant
  • Ensure effective and efficient usage of the radio’s resources
  • May be required to be in studio from time to time
  • Work closely with the radio’s Manager/Directors
